Letters and Papers from Prison (Part 1) - November 14

Bonhoeffer is one of the most important theologians of his generation. His writings are still frequently the subject of classes in seminaries. Perhaps most profoundly, Bonhoeffer was a witness to Christian faith and resistance in Nazi Germany. While imprisoned, he wrote a series of Letters and Papers which were later collected by his friend Eberhard Bethge. This is the first of a three part discussion. Join us as we reflect on the words and witness of this exemplar of the Christian faith.

St. Julian's Guild - November 15

Please join us for a fascinating and informative program at the November St. Julian's Guild meeting. We will gather in Millett Hall at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 15th. As we approach Advent and Christmas, Deacon Jim Lanning will take a look at the birth narratives of the four Gospels. We will see what they say, what they actually say rather than what we remember, how they are similar and how they are different.

St. Julian's Guild is an organization open to all women of Trinity Church. We meet monthly from September thru May, each meeting consisting of an informative program and a business meeting. Of course there is time for fellowship and refreshments. Please call Sara Senske with any questions. (630) 362-5075
