Episcopal Church Women & Guilds 2008 Fall Clothing Sale Information: 2008 Letter to the Trinity Family The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is an organization within the Church that unites all women through worship, service, study and fellowship. Each woman of Trinity Church is a member of the ECW and is welcome to participate in all of its programs. Through the ECW, we are connected to other Episcopal women from our region, the Diocese and the Anglican Church world wide. Women from Trinity participate in our twice annual regional activities at the deanery level: the Lenten Quiet Day and the Fall Deanery Day. In addition, the ECW of the Diocese of Chicago offers the Annual Meeting and convention in the spring and the Fall Forum. St. Julian’s Guild offers monthly programs that revolve around a variety of topics such as spiritual growth, health, ethics, and personal wellness. They meet at 12:30 pm on the third Thursday of each month. Click here for the calendar of events for both ECW and St. Julian's Guild. The Knitting Ministry members gather to create prayer shawls which are knitted, blessed and then given to those in need of comfort and prayers. The Knitting Ministry meets once a month. A daytime meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month at 12:00 noon. Through our fundraising efforts, Trinity ECW is able to contribute to various outreach programs, social service agencies, and programs within our church that provide educational and life-skills instruction. Over $5000 was donated in 2005 including gifts to the following organizations:
