Outreach Ministries

The mission statement for the Outreach Ministries is: It is our task to emulate Jesus, reaching beyond boundaries to help people who are in need, whether that need be economic, physical, or spiritual.

The Trinity Church faith community is "hands on" when it comes to ministering in the DuPage County and Wheaton Communities.

Du Page P.A.D.S.

This acronym stands for Public Action to Deliver Shelter and is a network of churches and congregations throughout DuPage County that provides food and shelter to homeless persons. Trinity has been on board since PADS's inception 15 years ago. We began as a support for Gary Memorial Methodist Church here in Wheaton, and then six years thereafter, became a site ourselves. Trinity hosts the program every Monday night from October to April of each year. Volunteers from various churches provide the food and bedding, and take shifts staffing the shelter from 6:00 p.m. on Mondays through 8:00 a.m. the following day.

Christmas Sharing

Christmas Sharing is a community-wide program of outreach to families and individuals in need at Christmas time. The need has been especially great in the past several years because of the continuing impact of inflation on the buying power of fixed incomes and reductions in government-funded assistance programs. Christmas Sharing reaches several hundred families each year and Trinity assists in meeting that need. Please call the parish office at 665-1101 for further information on ways you can help.
