The Wheaton/Warrenville Christmas Sharing program is an all volunteer charitable organization (501C3) coordinated by an coalition of Wheaton and Warrenville churches – nine total – for the benefit of families and individuals in need at Christmas time. The program provides food boxes, toys, assorted household items, and clothing. Trinity Episcopal has been a part of this program since its inception, 41 years ago! Around November of each year, parishioners are asked to sign up to provide food boxes for small, medium or large families, as well as volunteer their time during the packing and sorting of those boxes. The second week of December, approximately 50 volunteers gather in Millet Hall to sort, pack and serve the families that come to pick up their donated items. The need has been especially great in the past several years because of the continuing economic impact, and reductions in government-funded assistance programs. Last year, Trinity served 126 families and this year it will be at least that many and probably more. Please take time to donate both your time and food/clothing items for this important ministry, because this is what Christmas is all about! Please call the Parish Office at 665-1101 for further information on ways you can help. Or you may visit Christmas Sharing website:  www.christmas-sharing.org
