DuPage PADS (Public Action to Dispense Shelter) has the solution to end homelessness: provide housing options combined with life skills and employment services. Originally an overnight shelter and meals program, DuPage PADS has added transitional and supported permanent housing to its programs. By offering the necessary life skills and employment services, they help to prevent the participants from recycling back to the streets. DuPage PADS empowers them to rebound and rebuild their lives while holding them accountable for their own progress. And this is accomplished with the compassion and respect each individual deserves. DuPage PADS works in partnership with faith-based and community groups plus thousands of dedicated volunteers with one goal in mind: to end homelessness throughout the county. |
