Discrimination and Race Conversation - April 14

Please join us as we continue the discussion on Wed., April 14 at 7 PM on Zoom. This month’s conversation will be based on the video ‘Chicago at the Crossroad’ which can be watched online at https://video.wttw.com/video/chicago-at-the-crossroad-ba4kvv/ or https://www.pbs.org/video/chicago-at-the-crossroad-ba4kvv/.

Here’s part of the description of the video: ‘While gun violence is on the decline in most major U.S. cities, why has it continued to increase in many of Chicago’s communities? This documentary reveals how the elimination of public housing led to instability on the city’s South and West sides, and opens a rare historical window into the systematic creation of neighborhoods plagued by violent crime.’

All Parish Meeting - April 17

Join us at 10:30 am for the All Parish Meeting on Zoom (passcode: 60187). To say this past year has been a roller coaster… well that is an understatement of epic proportions! As the vestry continues to think about what comes next in our shared life, we want to hear from you… or perhaps even more strongly, we NEED to hear from you. What have we learned about what is ESSENTIALLY important? What have we learned about what we can LET GO of? What might the Holy Spirit be trying to teach us about what it means to be a person of faith?
