These Organizations Need Assistance

During the COVID-19 crisis, Trinity has been continuing to support local charities that care for those most impacted. If you wish to help these organizations directly, please look at the list below:

Food Pantries
Food pantries are experiencing a huge increase in demand for their services. They need both material and money, although, if you can donate money, that money will probably go further than the food items you provide.

PRC Needs Team Members

We continue to have a need for volunteers in the pantry, especially in the sessions later in the week on Thursday and Saturday mornings. If you are available for any of the times, please go to the volunteer tab on the PRC website https://www.peoplesrc.org/volunteer-portal-2/ and sign up for openings that fit your schedule. The calendar is open for two months in advance. Available times to volunteer are:

Monday - Stocking Shift - 8 AM to Noon
Tuesday - Distribution - 8 AM to 11:30 AM
Wednesday - Stocking - 7 AM to Noon
Wednesday - Distribution - 5 PM to 8:30 PM
Thursday - Distribution - 8 AM to 11:30 AM
Friday - Stocking - 8 AM to Noon
Saturday - Distribution - 8 AM to 11:30 AM

We continue to follow strict health safety protocols with all our volunteers and staff and look forward to seeing you in the Wheaton PRC Food Pantry soon.

Bible Study

We will explore the National Episcopal Church teachings of practices that support living into a Jesus Centered life. Our time will be spent viewing videos, of Presiding Bishop Curry preaching’s and others around developing practices of: Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, Rest, followed by a group discussion on how we can apply these practices in our daily lives. Preparation is not required for each session. All are welcome. Please join us! An Advent Series on The Lord's Prayer

Cathedral Counseling Center

Cathedral Counseling Center helps people make sense of their lives during difficult times through professional, affordable mental health services. Cathedral Counseling Center is a member agency of Episcopal Charities & Community Services. One of the recipients of a 2020 Trinity Outreach grant was the Cathedral Counseling Center. The request was made by Dr. Gail Fairhall.
