As a community committed to being a place of Holy Welcome we believe getting to know one another is sacred work and we do this each Sunday morning at Coffee Hour. In order to continue this sacred work we need volunteers to host Coffee Hour following the 10:00 am service. Making coffee and providing a few treats (optional) is all that is required. Mentors are available to assist! Fall/winter sign up sheet available in kitchen or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. TRINITY MEMBER, MATTHEW MILLER performs in The Laramie Project, a moving portrait of an unbelievable crime. Three shows will be performed, January 25 & 26 at 7pm and January 27 at 2pm. This show is rated PG13 for strong language and mature themes. In October 1998, a twenty-one year old student at the University of Wyoming was kidnapped, severely beaten, and left tied to a fence in the middle of the prairie outside Laramie, Wyoming. The Laramie Project is a breathtaking collage that explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable. NOTE: This is the re-scheduled session after the original session on Wednesday, January 23 was cancelled due to inclement weather. Join Father Fisher as he facilitates a discussion on Brian McLaren's book, The Great Spiritual Migration. Drawing from his work as global activist, pastor, and public theologian, McLaren challenges readers to stop worrying, waiting, and indulging in nostalgia, and instead, to embrace the powerful new understandings that are reshaping the church.
