Trinity is entering the race to Fight Hunger 10K, 5K + Kids Mile!
We are looking for members to run/walk as a team to raise funds for Northern Illinois Foodbank on Saturday, May 3 at Cantigny Park.
You have the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of our neighbors through fundraising. Upon Fight Hunger registration, you'll receive an email with a link to your customizable Fundraising Page. Make it your own and share, share, share! You'll be surprised how many people will want to support your participation and mission to ensure everyone has access to nutritious food.
The Fight Hunger event is a pledge-based event, meaning our success depends on the dedication of individuals like your to help raise critical funds. To show our appreciation, we're excited to fill your participant bag with fun Food Bank swag when you reach the fundraising milestones. So, let’s set the bar high! Every dollar you collect makes a real difference, helping provide meals for families facing hunger across our service area.

I am the Light of the World!
For this year's Lenten meditation, we're going to display photographs of light - God's light. Those special moments that are illuminated by candle light, a lamp, the moon or the sun. A cat napping in a pool of sunlight, the sun breaking through clouds after a storm, or light as it filters through woods. Sunrise, sunset, high noon- these are times that we can feel the presence of God through the light that is shining.
All photos are welcomed! They may include any subject - people, places or things that are meaningful to you, that represent God's touch, and that you feel might be an image that others will enjoy.
Please forward your digital copies to me, Beth Petti at
If you have a print copy, please let me know so I can pick it up. We will be collecting photographs through at least the end of April.
