As I reflect on the beginning of a new year I am thankful that God is in all things. Because Henri Nouwen is one of my favorite authors, I am drawn to the quote above. Sometimes I forget that in the messiness of life that God’s in it all. I’ve caught myself saying, to an incident where things have turned out well, it’s a God thing. I wonder though do I say the same when things don’t turn out like I want them to. Isn’t God in the disappointments and disillusionment as well? Yes I do believe so; I need to claim that more often.

The 130th Events Committee has received an excellent response to our call for information about former Trinity members whom we'd like to invite to the festivities during the 13oth chapel celebration. Now we have a lengthy list of names left which have no current address associated.
